accessibility policy

Margate Soul Weekender is committed to creating an event that is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone. Our festival takes place across indoor venues and outdoor areas in Margate Old Town, the Harbour, and Newgate Lower Promenade, each with its own access features.

We aim to provide clear information, reduce barriers where possible, and support guests with mobility, sensory, or additional needs.

Disabled Access Scheme

Access Card holders and guests with access requirements can apply for our Disabled Access Scheme.
To apply:

  1. Purchase your ticket

  2. Complete the access questions at checkout

  3. Submit the Access Application Form

  4. Receive confirmation and ticket release

Most areas are step-free or gentle inclines.

✔ an ultra-short version (2–3 paragraphs)
✔ a friendly intro for the top of the page
✔ an FAQ-style Accessibility page with icons
✔ a venue-by-venue breakdown of access features

Just tell me what you prefer!
